When you receive your access and open the ServiceNow main page, you will be redirected to the default homepage.
This is the default ServiceNow dashboard that is generated automatically by the system.
In order to update the homepage view to the dashboard your team is using, please click on the settings button lease click on the settings button located at the right top corner.
Click on Dashboards to set your default homepage for the default view.
You can also update the Time zone fields located here, so that the timestamp within ServiceNow will be in sync with your local time.
Refresh the page once you close this window, and the Dashboard view will be your homepage.
In the homepage, click the down arrow button to locate the desired dashboard.
Unfortunately, you cannot define a dashboard as your default one. Instead, keep opening the one you need, and ServiceNow will define the most frequently visited dashboard as your default.

The widgets in the dashboard are self-explanatory. However, the most important ones to always keep an eye on are the unassigned tickets and the assigned tickets widgets per person.
The widgets with a green clock sign next to its title are automatically updated. We always keep an eye on Unassigned Tickets widget and click on the number if there’s an incoming unassigned ticket.
